What Ingredients does Nudi Pasta use?

Among our different ingredients, Nudi Pasta uses Organic Unbleached White Flour, All Natural Semolina, Vegetarian-fed Cage Free Eggs, local herbs (some even from my own garden!) and luxurious imported cheeses. We take great care in choosing ingredients of the highest quality, and work with them with traditional cooking techniques.

Why is Nudi Pasta more expensive?

To the difference of the mass produced pasta found in the supermarkets, we seek to create the freshest pasta possible. This involves making it "to order", and some even made by hand; which results in a more labor intensive product. Also, we use ingredients of the highest quality around, like our cage free eggs and our organic flour.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Yes! These compostable food containers are made from NatureWorks polylactic acid (PLA), which is derived from corn grown in the USA. These PLA containers are fully biodegradable and compostable. They are ASTM D6400-99 certified for "compostable plastics". Although, they look and feel like normal plastic (equally light and strong), they fully degrade into water, carbon dioxide and organic material when composted.
